Deputy Chief of Drug Supply Department
Dr. Anas is a senior healthcare and pharmacy leader with extensive expertise in health economics, Health Technology Assessment (HTA), medication policy, and healthcare systems across the GCC and wider region. He currently serves as Deputy Chief of the Drug Supply Department at Hamad Medical Corporation and Clinical Associate Professor of Clinical Pharmacy & Practice at Qatar University. He leads a national program focused on Health Technology Assessment and Innovation Regulation and serves as Vice President & Director of the ISPOR Qatar Regional Chapter. His experience also includes 10 years as Director of Pharmacy at the National Center for Cancer Care & Research. Dr. Anas holds an MSc in Clinical Pharmacy, International Practice & Policy from the University of London and a PhD in Clinical Practice & Medication Use from King’s College London. He is also an active researcher, international speaker, and contributor to several regional and global healthcare, pharmacy, and health economics organizations.
